of tapering oval form, with a tapering angular spout, ebonised wood scroll handle and flat hinged cover with fluted oval wood finial, the body later-chased with friezes of flowers and foliage, vases, swags and oval cartouches, each engraved with the same crest, the cover later-chased with spiral fluting, Robert Hennell, London 1780 - 5¼in. (13.25cm.), 16oz. gross.
