of plain tapering circular form, on a skirted foot and with a moulded body band and rim, scroll handle engraved with initials within a bright-cut cartouche and with a heart-shaped terminal, and domed hinged cover with scroll thumb piece, the front later-engraved with an earlier date, Isaac Cookson, Newcastle 1747 - 7¼in. (18.25cm.). 21oz.
