An Arita blue and white collander and stand
Edo Period (Mid 18th Century)
The stand impressed with a central stylised flower-head, the well and everted rim decorated with petal-shaped panels enclosing alternately a young boy and a pagoda in a river landscape divided by narrow panels with each a flower stem, reserved on a trellis diaper pattern ground, the similarly decorated collander with foliate rim and supported on small tripod feet
