Chenghua six character mark, circa 1620
Painted to the centre and well with the sun shining upon a group of butterflies hovering above a profusion of flowers in a baluster vase and two square jardinières, the everted rim with trailing branches issuing from rockwork, the reverse with ducks among lotus below a band of emblems among fire scrolls
