Wanli and Kangxi
Comprising a 'kraak porselein' bowl painted to the centre with a warrior below cartouches of peach and symbol, rim crack, 20.5 cm. diam.; a set of five soup-plates depicting an official arriving in a garden near a mansion, attendants and a horse nearby, two rim cracks, some small chips, 21.7 cm. diam.; a 'klapmuts' bowl decorated with a flower head, enclosing peony issuing from rockwork below panels of peony and symbols, 21.2 cm. diam.; and a set of five plates painted with peony below a willow tree surrounded by a composite floral border, one repaired, small chips and crack, 22.8 cm. diam.
