The petal-moulded steep sides painted respectively with panels in famille verte enamels with 'The Hundred Antiquities', in powder blue and gilt with a mountain view, in underglaze blue with a bird perched in branches and in iron-red and gilt with lotus scrolls, the interior enamelled in famille verte with conch shells and flaming pearls emerging from crested waves below a band of flowers and butterflies at the lobed rim, minute glaze frittings to the rim
