In the above match, played on 9th May 1936 at Brussels, Belgium defeated England 3-2.

The above England International cap and the following lot were awarded to Jack Crayston who was born at Grange-over-Sands, Lancashire on 9th October 1910. As part of the famous Arsenal side of the 1930's, he won the Division 1 Championship in 1935 and 1938 and the F.A. Cup in 1936. He also played a total of 8 times for the England International team and once for the Football League. After joining Arsenal in May 1934 from Bradford he retired through injury in 1943 and became Arsenal's assistant manager. He became manager at the Gunners in December of 1956 and stayed in that capacity until May 1958 before joining Doncaster Rovers again as manager in June 1958
