AN EGYPTIAN GREEN AND BROWN GLAZED COMPOSITION FRAGMENT OF A SWIMMING GIRL
CIRCA 6TH CENTURY B.C.
Comprising the upper part of a swimmer, wearing brown glazed echeloned short wig, probably from a spoon, 1 in. (2.5 cm.) long; a Romano-Egyptian bright turquoise glazed composition seated dog, with yellowish-green glazed head and ruff, circa 1st Century A.D., 1¼ in. (3.2 cm.) high; a grey and cream glazed composition 'marguerite' roundel, Ramesside, Dynasty XIX/XX (1295-1070 B.C.), 1 3/8 in. (3.5 cm.) diam; and an Egyptian style scarab ring (4)
