A late Ming bronze Guanyin group
17th Century
the female deity, wearing elaborate headdress, foliate decorated robes and celestial scarf, with serene facial expression and downcast eyes, seated on the side of a recumbent mythical beast above a lotus petal rectangular shaped stand, areas of gilt-lacqer remaining -- 11¾in. (30cm.) high, (old wear and flaking).
