Four engraved titles, including section titles to Collection coloriée des plus belles variétés de Jacinthes and Collection coloriée des plus belles variéetés de Tulipes. 200 hand-colored etched plates (plates 25 and 26 loose, oxidization to background colors on plates 58, 67 and 75, small stain on plate 95, a few occasional pale marginal stains, some plate numbers abraded or with numeration corrected in manuscript). (Title loose in the first volume.) Near-contemporary half black straight-grained morocco gilt, marbled boards (slightest wear at extremities).

A VERY FINE COPY OF THIS RARE SUITE OF FLOWER PLATES, including 40 plates of tulips at the end of the second volume. According to the index of plants at the end, these two volumes were intended as the supplement to the Collection des Fleurs de la Chine & de l'Europe, & de tout l'Ouvrage, bringing the complete collection to six volumes.
