The above trophy was awarded to James "Bud" Maxwell, who joined Preston North End in 1934, with whom he won a F.A.Cup winners medal in 1938. The above trophy was awarded to him for participating in the Anglo-Scots XI match against an England XI at Highbury on 8th May 1935. The above cap was awarded to "Bud" Maxwell's father.
