Maker's mark of Jan Buysen, Amsterdam, 1805; also struck with retailer's mark of Diemont and Dutch duty mark of 1814-1893; lamp apparently unmarked
The boat-shaped plain kettle with a lower and upper foliage border and reeded rim, domed detachable cover with square wooden finial, overhead swing handle with wooden centrepiece, the boat-shaped stand openworked into vertical lines, with later metal lamp
