A WELL PRESENTED AND DETAILED MODEL OF THE ROYAL SOVEREIGN OF 1638
modelled by N. Scullino with with bound masts, yards, standing and running rigging, figurehead, catheads, anchors with bound wooden stocks, belaying rails and pins, bitts, gratings, companionsways, two ship's boat's in chocks over well deck, stepped poop deck, large glazed stern lantern and other details. The plank on frame hull, carved overall, with main wale, boarding companionway, quarter galleries, transom and rudder is finished in black and varnish and mounted on two turned wooden columns with additional dolphin supports on a rope-boand display board. Overall measurements -- 41 x 39in. (104 x 99cm.)
