with sloping front, hinged doors, each acting as a ledge when opened, with letter/paper rack between, ink bottle holders and pen tray at front with single drawer below. Two inset plaques in doors inscribed MADE OF WOOD FROM THE FRENCH 74 GUN SHIP DUGUAY TROUIN CAPTURED NOVEMBER 4TH 1805, overall measurements -- 13½ x 16 x 10½in. (34,3 x 40.5 x 26.5cm.)
