FANTASTIC COLLECTION OF WILLIAMS SELYEM WINES

Burt Williams and Ed Selyem officially began making Pinot Noir and Zinfandel in 1981 under the Hacienda del Rio label. However when the use of this name was challenged by Hacienda Winery, the partners changed their name to what it is now. In 1983 Williams Selyem began to specialize in premium Pinot Noir from specific vineyards within the Sonoma Valley. By the end of the 1980's, vineyard names such as Rochioli, Allen, Hirsch and Summa had become associated with Williams Selyem Pinot Noir.

The following lots offer Williams Selyem enthusiasts an opportunity to obtain rare and highly desirable parcels of delicious drinking wines initially only available to the people who were lucky enough to make it onto the winery's mailing list. As the winery was sold in 1998, it is also a chance to purchase some of the last wines made by the Burt Williams and Ed Selyem team. From their first wines under the Hacienda del Rio label to verticals of Rochioli and Allen and horizontals of various vintages, this huge collection has something for everyone who enjoys premium California Pinot Noir.
