Sequoia Grove takes its name from one of the last groves of giant redwood trees in the Napa Valley, which encircles its centuries-old winery building. Founded by James Allen in 1980, Sequoia Grove has established itself in a short time as a winery of distinction, producing award-winning wines of depth, elegance and character. It was judged America's best Cabernet Sauvignon in 1985 and was selected winery of the year in 1988. The Cabernets have won major awards in every vintage since.
