Five bottled in the UK. Branded wax capsules. No labels. Seven Oporto-bottled. Branded lead capsule. no labels. Good levels
Tasting note: First tasted 1965. Even then soft and sweet. Many notes but only a few since the early 1980s. Good but not great. With the exception of a rather sharp Cockburn & Campbell bottling, fragrant, elegant, lean, and lightish in style, spicy and with slightly hot, spirity dry finish. Now fully mature; sweet bouquet, vanilla and liquorice; still sweet, lovely. M.B.
