printed and painted in the 'aesthetic' taste with vignettes of birds, fish, shells and vegetables after designs by Pierre Mallet and Leonce Goutard for A.Borgen & Co., comprising: three oval vegetable tureens and four covers, a sauce tureen, four oval serving dishes, five meat dishes in sizes, four soup plates and five dinner plates, impressed factory marks and printed and painted retailer's marks, various date codes, circa 1875 (sone damages and glaze staining)
