It is probable that this example was from the collection of Captain W.A. Harrison (the co-designer of these stamps). His collection was in his suitcase when he was travelling on the 'Cormarin', in order to put out a fire, the baggage and neighbouring holds were flooded. His stamps were saved, but suffered some loss of colour
