Three tsubas
Edo Period
an inlaid iron tsuba of oval shape decorated in relief and gilt with dragons amongst foaming waves, gilt rims; another inlaid iron tsuba of quatrefoil shape decorated in silver and gilt with various figures at leisure in garden scenes; and a bronze inlaid tsuba the details decorated in gilt with a tiger resting on rockwork in an openwork section, signed -- 3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) max. high, (rubbing, restoration to second piece).
