Of French Empire design, 19th Century
Comprising: two settees, each with scrolled toprail and rectangular padded back, the upholstered seats flanked by moulded armrests, supported by ormolu seated winged female sphinx figures, the moulded rails mounted with flowerheads and bands of foliage, on turned supports, with ormolu foliate cast caps, stretching to paw feet
