Lot Essay

foaled in 1867, Scarboro was by Lambton out of Cordelia. In 1869 he won the Champagne Stakes at Sainsbury and other races for Colonel Astley. He was purchased by G. Angell for whom he won the Drawing Room Stakes and three other races in 1870.
