A MINIATURE ATTIC POTTERY RHYTON
Circa 5th Century B.C.
Molded in the form of a ram's head, naturalistically modelled with ridged, underslung horns overlapped by slender ears, the fleece a pattern of raised pellets, the eyes painted, with a flaring bowl and a strap handle, all black-glazed but for the reserved fleece, horns and eyes
