TWO ETRUSCAN BRONZE FIGURES OF HERCLE
Circa 3rd Century B.C.
One with the hero depicted nude, standing with his weight in his right leg, his left leg relaxed and slightly advanced, raising his right arm and wielding his now-missing club, his lion skin draped over his left fore-arm, his wavy locks center-parted; and one similar, with a now-missing attribute in his extended left hand, perhaps a bow, with a mantle draped over his left fore-arm, his hair a series of ridges, with protruding, rounded buttocks
