A BYZANTINE BRONZE LAMP AND STAND

The lamp with joining curving handles terminating in duck heads, the hinged domed lid with a seven-petalled flower and a stepped finial, with a single upturned nozzle, on a flat base with a square socket to accommodate the pricket, the stand with a shallow drip pan, the knobbed baluster with moldings, supported by three legs with stylistic lion-paw feet over disk pads
