painted and gilt in the Imari palette with a fence issuing bamboo and flowering Oriental shrubs within blue-line roundels, below a border of flowerheads upon blue, iron-red and green shaped section issuing trailing leaves and flowers, below gilt-line rims, comprising: a teapot, cover and stand, a two-handled sugar bowl and cover, milk jug, slop bowl, two square shaped plates, seven teacups, eight coffee cans, nine saucers and eleven preserve dishes, pattern 967/9, printed green cartouche mark, circa 1835 (minor damages and repair)
