The bambu case mounted with porcelain panels to the sides and rear door, each with duck egg blue ground painted with birds amidst raised gilt branches with colourful blossom and decorated with miniature vignettes, the conforming dial with white Roman chapter ring within gilt borders, with blued steel hands, the single barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, numbered 9947 on the backplate
