No.423. Circa 1885
The anglaise riche case with spiral-twist Corinthian columns, the translucent pink enamel dial embellished with raised gilt and crimson scrolls, the gilt chapter ring with red and black Gothic style numerals and filigree foliate centre mount, with blued steel hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat on gong to the backplate numbered 423, with further stamp E10 to the inside base of the case
