Early 19th Century
Inlaid overall with feather-banded lines, the rectangular top with a later three-quarter gallery with dentilled rim, above a roll-top and a slide with a sliding green canvas-lined writing surface, enclosing a fitted interior with four pigeon-holes, four drawers, a door and a well, above a simulated frieze drawer and three long drawers, flanked by pilasters inlaid with foliate sprays, on square tapering simulating fluted legs, minor restorations
