A 4-inch (10.2cm.) diameter terrestrial globe made up of twelve chromolithographed gores, the equatorial and the equinoctial colure graduated in degrees, the ecliptic not shown, the oceans with ocean currents, Antarctica with full coastline, the continents showing towns, cities, rivers, mountains and deserts, Panama shown as independent (post-1903), Leningrad shown as St Petersburg (pre-1914) (numerous abrasions, splitting to equator, scratches and areas of paper loss) with silver ball finial and baluster-turned silver column and moulded circular plinth base, the column with two decoratively-shaped handles -- 8¼in. (21cm.) high
