MALBY'S CELESTIAL GLOBE Published march 1st 1845
A fine 5-inch (12.7cm.) diameter celestial table globe made up of twelve colour engraved gores laid to the celestial poles, the equatorial graduated in degrees and hours, the colures graduated in degrees, the ecliptic graduated in days of the houses of the Zodiac, the constellations depicted by mythical beasts and figures and scientific instruments, the stars to five orders of magnitude with nebulae (some minor discolouration) with an unengraved brass meridian half-circle, raised on a baluster-turned mahogany column and circular plinth base -- 9¼in. (23.5cm.) high
