The tapering frame conjoined by tapering pillars, on circular ebonised plinth inset with a plaque inscribed Improved 8 Days LONDON WARRANTED, the silvered Roman chapter ring of sunburst outline, the single gut fusee movement with anchor escapement and passing hour strike on vertically positioned bell, under glass dome (cracked) -- 15¾in.
