Arabic manuscript on fibrous paper, 15ll. black cursive, red-ringed dots between verses, triple black ruled margins, divisions of text marked marginally in red, sura headings in red, opening and final folios illuminated with large floral lozenge around an inscription panel (inscriptions erased and rewritten later), opening bifolio illuminated in red, green, black and gold, margins of three bifolios in text decorated with green and purple foliate scrolls, black leather binding and flap with gold stamped and painted decoration in red, pink, green and blue, brown paper doublures painted with an insignia of sun, star, moon and planet in blue roundel flanked by flowering sprays - 27 x 19cm.
