Tang Dynasty
standing on a deep rectangular base with pierced clenched fists held up to his chest, wearing long boots under short flowing robes, flared armour plates to both shoulders and an elaborate curved helmet, areas of painted decoration with green, red, orange, white and grey pigments remaining -- 17¼in. (44cms) high, (old wear).
