Early 18th century
painted and gilt with roundels bearing the letter 'S' on a ground of peony sprays and scrolling foliage -- 6¼in. (15.8cms) high; an Imari bowl decorated with chrysanthemum sprays -- 4 1/8in. (20.5cms) diam; a verte Imari bowl and cover -- 3¾in. (9.5cms) diam; an Imari bowl and cover with kiku heads on a geometric pattern ground -- 4¼in. (10.8cms) diam; an underglaze blue, green and iron red enamelled bowl with scrolling lotus -- 4 3/8in. (11cms) diam; and a flaring cup with rounded base, decorated in iron red and green enamels with a lady and gentleman and floral panels -- 2½in. (6.4cms) high, (some cracks).
