In the high glaze, the deep maroon ground decorated with two macaws perched on branches laden with blossoming flowers and foliage, the reverse, decorated with a large single macaw amidst blossoming branches, the neck and foot decorated with a band of geometric shapes, glazed in shades of navy blue, pistachio green, tangerine, caramel and ebony, signed with the artist's initials in black slip and impressed with the firm's mark, XXVIII and 2370
