III, Venice: Aldine Press, 1576. 3 parts in one volume, 8° (158 x 97mm.), woodcut portrait of the author on title, some greek letter, with the 4 blanks as mentioned by Adams, red morocco gilt by Capé, Aldine device at centre of sides, g.e. Provenance: Thomas Brooke (bookplate). FIRST EDITION of Manuzio's thirty learned expositions on various problems of antiquity, each one prefaced to one of his friends or patrons.
