Captain Edward Jerome Burdett, formerly of the West India Regiment, was a Double Company Officer of the Rajputs in Dinapore at the outbreak of hostilities, having been advanced to Captain back in January 1909.

Lieutenant Kenneth Cyril Duff, who was born in September 1881 and commissioned into the Indian Army in December 1914, latterly served in the Army Remount Service.
