The collection includes Providence, Rhode Is. 1846 5c. of fine appearance with trace of cancellation at left (R.P.S. cert. "...cannot certify as used, although genuine"), General issues 1847 5c. (2), fair examples cancelled in red, 10c., a fine-looking example cancelled in red, 1851-56 imperfs. (13) with 10c. and 12c. pairs, 1857-61 Perf. 15 with 1c. (IIIa) and 1c. (IV) both fine, the former cancelled in blue, 5c. red-brown (I) used (partly reperforated), 1861-62 (18) to 90c. (reperforated at left) with 30c. (2), 1861-66 (15) with 2c. unused (part original gum), 1867 Grills (23) with "Z" 12c. pen cancelled and straight edged at left, "E" 1c. (2), 2c., 10c. and 15c., "F" 5c. (2), 10c. (2),15c.
