A PAIR OF CARVED IVORY AJOURE RELIEFS OF SCENES FROM THE LIFE OF MARGARET OF CORTONA
Italian, 18th Century
Each on a tapering wax plinth, each under glass and within a foliate carved oval frame with acanthus and flowerheads, with a rocaille- pierced as symetrical cresting, one frame with two circular trade labels, the first of 'A.& R. COLOMBARI',inscribed in blue ink 'Reg/72/150', the second: 'Collection COLOMBARI', inscribed in black ink 'Niso/3000'.
