Each with cartouche-shaped back with a floral-carved cresting and shaped seat covered in associated early 18th century petit-point and gros-point needlework with courtly figures in a floral surround, the downswept arms with floral and rocaille-carved decoration, on acanthus-headed cabriole legs terminating with upswept acanthus sabots, both stamped 'CAILLOIS', originally caned, restorations to the tapestry, later blocks (2)
