Each with circular dish supported by three classical bearded male figures around a central turned stem of alabastro fiorato on tripartite stepped pedestal mounted with foliate garlands, the central screw thread replaced

Lot Essay

This pair of tazze are comparable to a tazza by Francesco Righetti and his son Luigi, now in the Museo di Capodimonte, Napels (illustrated in A. Gonzèlez-Palacios, Il Gusto dei Principi, Arte del Corte del XVIII Secolo, Milan, 1993, fig. 536).
