Three Porcelain Bottles
The first two Edo period (18th-19th century), the third Meiji period (late 19th century)
The first two bulbous with a cylindircal neck ending in a rolled lip and painted in underglaze-cobalt with a stylized sailboat, waves and pines beneath double bands and foliate scroll around the shoulder, and with flowering prunus, snow-covered bamboo and pine; each bottle with concentric rings around the foot; the last squat, of ovoid form with a short cylindrical neck and a rolled lip and painted in underglaze-cobalt with a single peony spray
