A Group of Export Famille Rose Wares
Late 18th century
Comprising: a pair of ovoid vases decorated with panels of Mandarins in a garden pavilion within underglaze-blue foliate borders; a circular dish painted in sepia, rose enamels and gilt with a roundel of court ladies and children bemused by a bird, within a landscape cartouche border; a bowl decorated with figures in landscapes reserved on a diaper ground; and another small foliate-rimmed bowl decorated with floral urns; together with a Japanese red and gilt Kutani dish
