A famille rose medallion bowl
Daoguang (1821-50)
painted to the exterior with roundels of Immortals upon clouds and figures before pavilions in mountainous river landscapes, on an incised foliate ground reserved with scattered flowerheads, the interior in underglze blue and white, iron red and gilt with a central roundel of Guanyin before a figure seated upon a buffalo on a ground of bats amongst clouds -- 5 7/8in. (15cms) diam, underglaze blue Daoguang seal mark and of the period.
