In two parts, the upper section with a rectangular top above a conforming case fitted with three doors, each with inlaid and banded surrounds and bone diamond shaped escutcheons, the two outer doors with additional oval inlaid reserves with similar inlay, the two outer doors opening to reveal a fitted compartment with two drawers over three valanced pigeonholes, the central door opening to reveal three document slots; the lower section with hinged writing surface with similar inlay and banding above four graduated long drawers each with line inlay, banding and cockbeaded surrounds over a shaped skirt with inlaid edge, on French feet
