Each with a fan-shaped panel front and back enamelled in famille rose colors with a scene from the classic Chinese drama showing the fiancé climbing a garden wall to join his beloved who waits with her maidservant, all on a deep blue ground of gilt vine and beneath pink peony cartouches, the rim enamelled with lotus cartouches between blue cloud and green diaper pattern, the interior with colorful carp swimming amidst aquatic plants, gilt lion mask handles suspending bronze rings, platform wood bases with bronze bun feet
