Painted with the well-known scene showing small figures climbing haystacks and a tall ladder to reach the top of one in a row of Dutch houses, an unruly crowd at the side with cannon before them, the border floral and fruit clusters on a wan-fret ground, the back with formal lotus scroll border and a six-character Chenghua mark
