With the arms of May of London and Pashley, Sussex at the top above a foxhunting scene after James Seymour's painting The Death of the Fox showing the hunting party on horseback with their hounds alongside, a border of floral and fruit sprigs

A pair of salts from this attractive service, which is called "probably unique" by D.S. Howard (op. cit., p. 331), were in the Mottahedeh collection, one subsequently in the collection of Herbert G. McKay, sold Sotheby's New York, 21 January 2000, and the other sold Sotheby's New York, 19 October 2000
