A CHAMBERLAIN'S WORCESTER IMARI PART TEA SERVICE
Circa 1820, iron-red script Chamberlain's Worcester and 155 Bond Street marks
Painted with flowering plants issuing from rockwork and issuing leaves on gilt stems, the blue border with scroll motifs and gilt with laurel, comprising:
A rectangular teapot and cover, 9½in. (24.1cm.)long overall
A cream-jug, 6in. (15.2cm.) long overall
A two-handled sugar-bowl and cover, 5½in. (16.5cm.) long overall
A waste-bowl, 16 3/8in. (41.2cm.) diam.
Two circular dishes, 8½in. (21.6cm.) diam.
Together with:
Two Worcester cobalt-blue ground 'London' teacups reserved with bouquets and birds on branches (8)
